RED AND WHITE AND BLACK AND BLUE

Six(score) and fifteen years before
Our hybrid nation was born
Where our father´s sweat and toil
Where our forefathers blood drawn with the lash
Was repaid with the sword
For our creed, our unalienable dreams
They fought to hear freedom ring
In the marble halls the thieving gentry play
The elected mile and look the other way
On the picket line I´m looking at you
Now you know what you put us through
We took the blows we took the pain
The truth and glory flows through our veins
Ready to fight, not afraid to bleed
Gonna stand up for what I believe
My country belongs to me
This nation my identity
We´re living the greatest life
Walking to school stabbed with a knife
Bury the hatchet, once and for all
United we stand divided we fall
From the Vermont maple to the California sand
This anthem from the heartland
From the whitetrash ghetto trailer parks
To tenements in Boston or New York
Beaten down but we wont give away
We´re the working class of the U.S.A.

 I´m not a white man - I´m not a blackman
 I´m an American
 I´m not a nigger - I´m not a honkey
 My birthright liberty
 U.S.A., U.S.A., U.S.A,
Who will stand and who will say
Your freedom has become your slavery
